Taylor vs. Robinson bill of complaint, Undated; post 1865
Bill of complaint with appended exhibits in the said case, brought by plaintiffs Morris K. Taylor, administrator de bonis of the estate of Byrd Brandon, deceased, John D. Brandon, Lucy A. Haughton by her next friend John D. Brandon, and Eliza R. Seelye against defendants Mrs. Caroline Robinson as administratrix of the estate of William Robinson, deceased, and Thomas Haughton, husband of Lucy A. Haughton.

Aurulia Taylor autograph book, 1862-1873
Commercial autograph book entitled "Leaves of Affection," with notes and poems by her friends. Most signers were from Mobile, Alabama.

Francis Taylor letter, 1860 December 29
A letter from Francis Taylor, Oldham County, Kentucky, to William Crider, Westport, Kentucky, 29 December 1860, concerning a debt owed by Crider to Taylor's wife, who needed it to be repaid owing to having spent $150 on recovering a runaway slave.

Frank Marion Taylor papers, 1941-1949
Contains correspondence, memos and documents related to the military service of this Birmingham man. Included is a scrapbook made by Julia Mae Watkins Taylor containing newspaper headlines and clippings about World War II and personal mementos.

R. Taylor letter, 1862 March 13
A letter from R. Taylor, Confederate officer, to Benjamin W. Belsches, Confederate cavalry officer, Norfolk, 13 March 1862.

Samuel Taylor letter, 1818
Written to William W. Bibb, Governor of the Alabama Territory. Describes skirmishes between settlers and Indians in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.

Thomas Jones Taylor letters, 1862-1886
Letters written to family, mostly during his service in Co. K, 9th Alabama Infantry. Captured at Port Hudson, he writes mainly from Johnson's Island, Ohio.

Eldred Burder Teague papers, 1844-1883
Papers of an 1840 graduate of the University who became a Baptist minister, primarily consisting of Dr. Teague's religious writings.

Correspondence, speeches, addresses, reports, class notes for lectures and seminars and other papers relating to philosophy and other subjects and to conferences of the various professional organizations to which he belonged.

Paper presented at the Alabama Historical Association by Brittain Thompson, president of the Alabama State Archaeological Association, "Thousands of Years in Alabama."

John F. Thompson papers, 1836-1839
Consists primarily of correspondence concerning the Alabama Militia, 1836-1839, and the records of the 14th Brigade, Alabama Militia, 1837-1839.

"Music Through the Generations," by Stanley Thrasher, 1979
University of Alabama class paper written for American Folklore. Relates the history of the Thrasher Brothers gospel music group by a member of the family.

G. A. Tompkins letter, 1842 November 20
Written from Line Creek in Pike County, Alabama to his brother, Ch [Charles] Tomkins, Jr. in King William County, Virginia. Discusses his family news and health, cotton farming.

Toulmin, Hazard and Company letter, 1835 November 23
A letter from Toulmin, Hazard and Company of Mobile, Alabama, to Abraham Bell and Company of New York City, discussing cotton shipments, 23 November 1835.

Toulmin, Hazard & Co. letter, 1834 November 8
Written to Harvey Chase of Fall River, Massachusetts by J. B. Toulmin for this Mobile, Alabama commission firm. Includes market news and discusses selling cotton to Chase. Written on a printed market report of the firm dated November 5.

Louisa Anna Toulmin letter, 1842 August 5
Written from Toulminville to Mrs. Samuel Ward, Newport, Rhode Island. Thanks Mrs. Ward for the time spent with her on her trip north the year previous, and inquires about various people.

C. L. Townsend letters, 1862
Written to his wife and family from Kentucky and Corinth, Mississippi. Gives instructions for handling their business affairs and expresses discontent with the war.

Samuel Townsend estate papers, 1827-1890
Planter. Correspondence, legal documents and other papers. Primarily concerns the estate that Townsend left, in 1856, to forty of his slaves whom he emancipated by a will which was drafted by S. D. Cabaniss, and contested by rival heirs. The estate was liquidated on credit for over $200,000 in 1860, but the Civil War intervened, so the collectible funds were not distributed until the 1870s. Also concerns the education and other affairs of the legatees, their disappointed expectations and trips on their behalf to Ohio by W. D. Chadicks and to Kansas City by Cabaniss. Includes material on the voided will of Edmund Townsend, which left the bulk of his $500,000 estate to his two mulatto children.

Collection of materials relating to Presidents Truman an Eisenhower, including two typescript accounts of trips taken by the former in 1946, compiled by Charles Langello, a reproduction of a painting by Eisenhower, and three photographs, one of Eisenhower, one of his wife, and one of President and Mrs. Truman with John and Jacqueline Kennedy.

Tuskegee Airmen collection, 1983-1989
Materials relating to the Tuskegee Airmen, a group founded by men who participated in the first pilot training program for Blacks during World War II. Includes articles, clippings, press releases, programs, membership rosters, and a typescript of "My Personal History of the Tuskegee Experience," by Walter J. Palmer.
