FINDING ARTICLES IN DATABASES

Looking for articles?  The best place to start looking for articles is in one of the Libraries' databases.

What is a database?  A database is an organized collection of information (which includes journal, magazine and newspaper articles) that is in an electronic format. Below are some recommended databases to start with if you need to find articles for a research paper. These databases are only a few of the numerous databases the University Library makes available to you.  To access these or any other databases, go to http://www.lib.ua.edu/databases/ and go to the appropriate letter for the name of the database, OR go to the Subject Listing for Nutrition & Health.

CINAHL Plus with Full Text provides authoritative coverage for over 3000 journals from the fields of nursing and allied health.
