Services for Distance Education Faculty

University Libraries provides instructional services designed especially to assist University of Alabama distance education faculty.

If you are interested in incorporating the library into your class, librarians will prepare for your students a Web page that includes a variety of electronic resources tailored to your assignment or class needs. These resources will be selected from the University Libraries' Web site as well as from the Internet. Librarians will include instructions about how to use these resources and provide guidance on choosing quality Internet sites for use in research.

Preparation of a Web page for students at a distance requires two weeks' notice. Notify the Distance Learning Librarian, or (205) 348-8432, in advance of your assignment. The librarians look forward to collaborating with you on a product that fits your needs.
