To Request Materials

If you are a student registered with the University of Alabama's College of Continuing Studies or if you are a registered University of Alabama graduate student outside Tuscaloosa, the library will check out books to you and mail them through the parcel or postal service.

You are responsible for returning the books when they are due, for proper packing, return postage, and any fines assessed for late fees or damaged materials.

Here's how to request materials. . .

Using the Libraries' Catalog and Databases, place your request for journal articles and materials listed in the Libraries' Catalog through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). First time users are required to register before placing requests. When filling out the registration form, please make sure your status is set to Distance Ed. In addition, you must specify a street address. Items cannot be delivered to a post office box!
