Reciprocal Borrowing

University Libraries has arranged reciprocal borrowing agreements with several higher education institutions in Alabama. These institutions are listed below. The reciprocal borrowing agreements allow you, as a registered University of Alabama student, to check out materials from these libraries.

You must follow all of the rules and regulations of the institution you use. Borrowing items will require you to present a University of Alabama ACTion card or other form of identification.

If you would like privileges at an institution that is not on this list, notify the Distance Learning Librarian, or (205) 348-8432.

Many libraries with which the University does not have a reciprocal borrowing agreement will allow you to use their resources. At these libraries you may use the collections and resources in the library building, but you may not check out materials.
