Interests/Position Dr. Constance Janiga-Perkins, Associate Professor, Department of Modern Languages and Classics, earned her PhD in Hispanic Language and Literature from Indiana University in Bloomington, with concentration on colonial texts of the sixteenth- and seventeenth-centuries. Her current research interests are colonial women writers of Latin America and she is working on digitizing the life story of the Colombian Clarist nun Gerónima del Espititu Santo.
