Daddy D'z BBQ Joynt
Georgia State University
Daddy D'z is funky but not too funky. Wood for the smoker is stacked beside the building, decorations (interior and exterior) defy description. The meat's the thing. Sides are good, sauce is good, but the real draw is the meat ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, chicken - and turkey, shrimp, sausage but we didn't try those. We also didn't try the desserts or the cobbler or all of the sides – we may have to go back.

Yes, a good variety of veggie options. You aren't limited to cole slaw
Vegetarians would probably do OK with the variety of sides, a number of which are NOT cooked with fatback. They even offer veggie plates.
Type of Sauce
Tomato-based Thick, tomato-based Kansas City style, with slight sweetness. Two varieties: mild and hot. NOTE that the sauce is on the side and all meats are smoked just with a dry rub.
Known for their ribs, but their Daddy D'z Famous Que Wraps (BBQ pork wrapped in bite sized dough fried crisp and golden) are on the 100 Dishes to eat in Atlanta, your 2013 culinary bucket list - http://clatl.com/freshloaf/archives/2013/04/25/may-we-present-100-dishes-to-eat-in-atlanta-your-2013-culinary-bucket-list. They really are pretty decadent.
